'Just over ten years ago my involvement with the UK lighting industry began - first as a writer, latterly as a lighting designer. At around the same time, Optelma Lighting established its first base on these shores as a supplier of mainly decorative and domestic ligthing products.

During the last ten years I have watched the company's impressive growth into a respected professional lighting manufacturer, generating an annual turnover of £2+ million. The quality and type of product have been transformed - most notably through the development of several innovative, highly commercial lighting systems, based around the extruded aluminium profile.
